The Artist

Beatriz is an artist living and working in the Bay Area.

Her original artwork captures a journey of personal transformation, demonstrating how creativity can heal. It warmly invites others to explore their own light and path through the simple joy of creating.

"Painting has always been an outlet which I think many of us can relate to.  It's a place where I can be myself and turn my emotions, both good and bad, into some really interesting pieces. 

I start by picking a color that fits my mood, then let my intuition guide the rest of the palette. Sometimes, I dive in with bold lines and see what shapes emerge.

My process is all about play and intuition. I slowly shape and organize the elements, much like tidying up a pantry or desk drawer. It’s structured and orderly, yet I deliberately leave a few things out of place to maintain a sense of balance and intrigue.

When you look at my painting, I invite you to explore. You'll notice various marks and lines, each representing my journey with everyday life. It can be a bit of a mess! But that's where the magic happens—it's up to you to decide what it all means. As long as I can spark your curiosity, I've done my job as an artist, and that makes me happy."
